    Facebook Vargas turbo fake knockoff?

Hey guys! Just trying to confirm if this guy is trying to rip off someone with a fake Chinese turbo spray painted as Vargas turbos. Not sure because one part of it looks laser engraved VTTO but the detail portion looks painted with finger prints on it.

Also , the invoice number is missing but he has ECS receipts he is claiming as legit. Not sure if he installed real ones and is swapping out china knockoffs as VTTO.

Those look to be legit ones - VTT laser logo and looks to be an ECStuning receipt whom they readily distribute to. I've seen hundreds of upgraded N54 turbos and from pictures those look okay to me and doesn't smell of anything fishy. Just their Stage2/2+ models in their newer style Cast manifolds that many others use these days from overseas.

I guess the thumb prints on the white paint, no invoice # on the turbo, no Vargas turbo placards riveted to it, and the compressor housing doesn’t have VTTO.

We do not paint anything on our turbos, so not possible to have thumbprints on anything. Looks like those were sold through ECS, they keep these in stock and place large stocking orders, so its almost impossible to trace an individual set. They are supposed to scribe the invoice number into the housings when they ship a set but rarely do. They are an older set as all our units from stock on up have our logo cast into the housings now but those look legit just by the caps used which are genuine US-based Capplug brand, not the generic caps you see on a lot of other offerings. if you have any direct questions just drop us an email.
