    BMS Fuel Pump Controller

New BMS product in testing phases now, a stand alone universal style fuel pump controller that can run your 2nd (and maybe 3rd) fuel pump.

Installation is really easy. Just give it 12v, ground, it has an output wire to power up your fuel pump, and finally a voltage input for the trigger which you can attach to your map sensor. Inside the box there are two dials, turn on (30% min dutycycle), and max flow (100% dutycycle), so you can set when the pump starts and when it goes max flow, relative to the input voltage or engine boost.

We're also evaluating having the trigger wire read dutycycle so rather than running a wire to the front for boost you can have it trigger off the factory EKP dutycycle for a really clean/simple install. In this trim you could set the 2nd pump to turn on only when the first pump goes 100%.

Finally we should also be able to configure this in a "load balance" mode for those running a single pump but worried about burning out their factory EKP. In that implementation this will sit in parallel with the EKP splitting load to the pump so the EKP sees roughly the same current as a factory fuel pump. More testing required on this specific implementation but it seems promising.

Intro pricing will be around $200. Click here to enlarge

Pretty cool, it's alot cheaper than the BPM4 but also alot less sophisticated. Hope testing works out good because it is always better to have competition and alternative options.

Very nice, pretty soon there won't have to be anything that doesn't directly integrate with the JB4 for us JB4 enthusiasts!

Yeah integrating into the jb4 would be a nice option for those running it so they don't have to tap into any wires.

Yes, but directly wires into the canbus system in a pnp fashion allowing the ECU to control everything. No need to wire into the tmap or have boost based on load based control. It can also power up to 3 pumps.

For people like me who build track cars and don't have anything past a walboro 450 lpfp I would rather have the bms option with power splitting to protect the factory ekp as it'll be alot cheaper. It's hard to justify $650 if you only need a bit of extra power.

The JB4 already has a high current output used to power a relay for a 2nd or 3rd fuel pump, as does the JB4 PI controller. So this is more for guys who are flash only or looking for an independent solution.

Not to foul up a new product post with unrelated stuff but how does a jb4 owner utilize and control the high current output?

I imagine the you would hardwire the pump and use the JB4 as a trigger

Relay ground goes in to spot8 on the JB4 and there is user adjustment on the WMI page for the external output.
