Fabspeed tunes another Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS with their full product suite - Dyno plus Competition Race Pipe sound clips

Fabspeed worked their magic on yet another 991.2 generation Porsche 911 GT2 RS. You can view the entire suite of parts they offer here. This particular 991.2 GT2 RS received a race system with bypass pipes and an ECU tune.

659 rear wheel horsepower goes to 723 rear wheel horsepower. The torque jump is huge with peak torque going to 714 lb-ft at the wheels from 555 lb-ft at the wheels stock or in other words an increase of 159 lb-ft.

Ok, so the gains are large and this thing is a beast. But just listen to it below. That whistle and that exhaust tone... oh my.

Just spectacular all the way around.

The big jump is at 4500 unless we're reading different graphs.

Sounds amazing. Not sure what you're listening to.

The GT2 RS looks so much better in all black without the cheap-looking contrasting bits on other colors

I dont like the sound of most porsche turbo 6s and this one is no different.

If you look at the graph hp is flat between 5-6k rpm then it jumps 70hp in like 400rpm, don’t normally see a jump like that on todays turbo cars, pretty cool....

Well i can tell right away, the new one looks more refined longer and sleek, just looks more expensive. Once you move to the interior the changes are obvious.

The interior changes are probably the biggest. Although they f'd up the gear shifter.

I get your point. For me, the lighter 991.2 is absolutely fine as I already have it. If buying now, I'd probably opt for the 992.

They just keep improving them overall, i means the 991 is an awesome package and porsche improved on that. That 992 shifter seems out of place, seem to be getting smaller and smaller though not as small as the mannetino on the ferraris. However smaller shifter is the trend with new high end sports cars....

So is ditching the manual but Porsche offers that so they should offer a shifter with PDK as they always did IMO.

We personally haven't, but our customers have and they got some pretty decent results on the mild maps.
