Was mostly running 2.0s on the AD08s at road pressure and low/mid 11s (wheel spin city 2nd and 3rd) . So decided drop to 26psi, rip large line lock burnout and the hurt the stall in staging. Stage early , spin it up so the tyres turn and quickly back it off before leaving on green.(checking log it was about 3k and 5-6 psi). Smashed an amazing launch and no spin in each gear. However , the Yokos werent the same afterwards the next run was err. dangerous sideways action (I took a pic of both slips together , you can see I just couldnt get on the throttle) As a tip for others, semi comp track rubber likes heat but you may only get one extreme heat cycle, burnout wise? (Admittedly the tyres tho' good tread are 3 or more years old too) Driving home they dont feel the same, so i may have paid a high price for the time. Still got the 10. No broken axles (thanks mfactory) no broken trans(thanks Nizpro)

    Honestly, that's fantastic!!

Wish the Nizpro trans took off more and they kept doing it. The results are great.

How long have you ran the Nizpro transmission? How much torque are you pushing out of it?

Nizpro has been in the car a few years. Not sure about the torque. Not been newr a dyno recently. In terms of power ,its nowhere near its limit. In ford barra powered cars over here this trans runs 9s no problems.

I hear you but, not for these AD08R tyres. The sidewalls are very very stiff, so dropping pressure is more about getting the right cold starting pressure to then go heating the compound and arriving at a reccomended inflation of around 34psi hot. My 1.68 60ft tells me the tyre pressure is pretty optimal, or the compound is hot. For drag radials ,sure you could go lower.

We have been working on this for some time.

We have oem versions done, just test fitting it to some hybrids to make sure they fit them too.

RHD is so tight and there is no room for error and not all turbos housings are positioned exactly the same as we found out which made this whole endeavour extremely frustrating.

RHD is just tricky all round for turbo plumbing. Even inlets wise. I have TFT JD75 modded inherited. The outlets, not sure what Alex stuck in there. I can see the nicely dented in modified pipes though... cringe . How much it hurts power? Hard to say. Be good to see what the compromise does to bigger turbos vs a good setup. Be good to see how you go Martymill.

We already make a modified factory pipe thats muuch more free flowing than stock which is done on exchange basis.

The alloy full 1.5" are not far away, no exchange.

I run the rb silicone outlets with a few mods to make it fit and its definetly not ideal for rhd but it does the job, its definitely not a bolt up kit but we made it work.

I'm in the process of making the gc style alloy outlets but that's still some months away and might be impossible to do properly, not saying it cant be done but there are just to many compromises. More on this later.

They don't offer them because they stopped making them.

I don't know the whole story and its second hand info but they paid a load of cash to get the software developed for our transmissions and got screwed over by someone thats currently sells it or something like that.

Not naming names as its secondhand info, so they decided to turn their efforts to what makes them money.

We lost a great transmission builder because of other parties greed.

Facts on Nizpro transmission. I sent my ZF 6HP21 transmission to Nizpro early in the year to be upgraded. Below is the list of modifications which they say are good for 450rwkw (700+hp on Dynojet).
Complete strip down and rebuild. Replacement of all bushes and seals, Nizpro friction and steel drive plates to Nizpro spec. Nizpro Billet input shaft, Nizpro Billet intermediate shaft, Nizpro Billet intermediate drum, Nizpro billet B drum.
Not sure where the friction plates come from but there was a delay in waiting for them to arrive. The transmission was returned in April 2019. I installed the xHP Stage3 tune which works very well. Torque converter is my original standard OEM item which is 94,000kms old. Car has done a 1.57s 60' with this transmission.

I believe the clutches are custom items from another reputable Aussie mob.

Well the only trans software is really XHP so who else could it be?

The Nizpro hardware is working really well for those who have it so it's a shame this didn't develop further.

What you can count on in the N54 world is getting ripped off for a few bucks though. It's kind of sad what it has deteriorated to.

Oh well, look at the B58 and S58! Those are the future...

No issues at all. My Nizpro has been built and waiting to drop in the car for over 18mths.
Car has been off the road through two turbo kit developments for RHD, otherwise it would have been in my car already. :-)

Did they mention what their upgrade is capable of handling?
