    Experience with GIAC or Eurocharged

Iíve owned my 991.2 Base Cabrio already for 18 months and I have already made my mind that itís time to go with a tune.

Iíve seen all those tuning discussions but in most of them, people are talking about the Cobb tune. In the last couple of months, I have also seen some more mentions about the Hydra tune and during the last month, the new JB4 (kind of a piggybacked....). Little mention to the GIAC tune and none to Eurocharged.

Iím specifically asking for GIAC or Eurocharged because they are the only ones that have a local distributor in my country that can unlock the ECU locally. They will be able to provide ECU warranty and local help in case of any problems. With other tuners, I would need to send the ECU by courier and praying that in the case that I have a problem, I would have the needed support.

The GIAC is not aggressive as the Eurocharged (70 vs 100 HP increase) but it could be a first and safer step......

In summary..... trying to get some feedback from those that are currently running a GIAC or Eurocharged tune in order to see if they are as strong as they say it is. Also if there any worries with the PDK by using these tunes.

Bud, cross GIAC off that list. They aren't doing any real 991.2 3.0 tuning.

Frankly I'm surprised they are even still in business.

Due to your location it will be tough but VF, Eurocharged, Dyno Spectrum, are all options. All are better than GIAC.
