VTT Cast CNC Aluminum N54 Valve Cover

Hey Guys happy to announce our latest VTT product solution for the N54 platform.

VTT Cast CNC aluminum N54 valve cover.

We have been working on this for a while, trying to balance cost-effectiveness with good looks and high quality. We believe we have found the solution. This is a cast version of our incredibly popular Billet CNC valve cover. Instead of starting with a billet piece of aluminum, this cover is cast, then it goes through the same machining process as our billet VC. This keeps the cost down and makes for an awesome valve cover that eliminates the factory plastic cover (and its cyclonic PCV system). This allows you to run any of our modular PCV fittings, crankcase breather, vacuum relief, billet banjos, catch can kits, etc.

This truly is the best bang for your buck Valve Cover upgrade on the N54 market. High quality, low price, great looks, no cracking, and unlimited PCV plumbing options makes this a no brainer upgrade!

We offer three color options. Clear Anodize (please keep in mind, this will show casting imperfections as not all surfaces are machined), Black Wrinkle and Red Wrinkle Powder coat (wrinkle finishes will hide all casting imperfections and look the best). There is no charge for powder coating options. We offer custom colors of anodizing, and powder coat at $150 for either.

    Valve Cover Details:

    • Price $649.00
    • Cast CNC 6061-T6 Aircraft aluminum construction
    • Anodized or powder-coated in a variety of colors (Color Pictures coming shortly)
    • Lightweight; 9.0 lbs. (compared to 7.9 lbs for a stock cover - only 1.1 lbs difference)
    • Gives the end-user true variety for setting up their Valve Cover and PCV System by utilizing all existing VTT PCV fitting, and breather options
    • Lower pricing than other non-modular cast options on the market

Please select a color, if we do not have it in stock, we will let you know, and you can choose another. Custom colors are a $150 upcharge. For the fittings, we have many available choose what you would like. If you have questions please drop us an email.

    IMPORTANT NOTES:

    • THE STAINLESS BREATHER WILL NOT FIT ON THE FRONT ORB AS IT WILL NOT CLEAR THE HOOD.
    • This cover may or may not fit with your engine cover depending on how you have it set up, and is designed to be run without an engine cover.
    • This fits the BMW N54 engine ONLY

The Cast Aluminum CNC Valve cover is currently available for Pre-Order and we should have 10 Black Wrinkle, and 5 Red Wrinkle in about 2-3 weeks.

No plans for a low-rise one at the moment but I can talk to Tony about the idea. As far as other options anything you want, really, from a plug to the breather or whatever fittings you'd like. They're modular -like legos, build what you want.

Some pics of the red and black cast valve covers with a fewgood close ups!

As an aside, a few guys have asked if they need to remove injectors to install the valve cover. The answer is "no", but it is easier if you do remove them. I didn't when I changed my VC. Tony always removes the injectors when taking off a valve cover, but as I pointed out to him, he's also changed more injectors than anyone I know, at the last 1/2 mile event the car's injectors started acting up and he changed all of them out including coding in about 15 minutes. What's the difference in install time between removing and not removing?

Good question, really varies. As a mechanic, I'm slow in general, but very methodical, so I didn't see the need to. Tony is like the tasmanian devil on energy drinks, and he takes out injectors when he checks tire pressures, so to each their own. I'd say if you give one or two good trys w/no gasket to test fit the new VC back on and you seem to be hanging up on the injectors, don't fool around, just pull them and reinstall. If you test fit it a couple times with no issues, be the wild man (or woman!) that you are and change it w/out pulling injectors. You rebel you.

Few things here. 1. This is not the place to inquire about orders. 2. You received none of those things (invoice/tracking) because the email you entered when ordering was not valid. We cannot send you anything if we do not have a valid email. If you wish to gather more information sales at vargasturbo.com is always the first place you should go. Your package has already shipped, and we will gladly give you tracking once you send us a valid email
