M52tub25, race gas and lots of nitrous?

How much nitrous will a M52tub25 take? We are going to run C16 with the factory tune. It is a port nitrous system. Starting with a 125hp shot and working our way up to 200hp if it will take it. It's for a drag race application. Some Amazon headers to get the exhaust out. Has anyone pushed the M52tu beyond its mechanical limits?

Main problem with m52tu is pulling studs out of the block. I would say 200 shot is the maximum you can do without $#@! hitting the fan.

There was a time people thought a 125 shot would kill an S54 and look at the M52U handling it no problem!

We were going to take it back to the track last month but I got sick and we didn't make it. So next event we will spray it with a 175hp shot.

Still waiting on them to schedule the next event. If they don't do it soon we will just take it to a test and tune.

Have not given up on the m52 yet guys. Just waiting on some better weather. Its hot in south Louisiana at the moment! we did return to the track and tried to make a pass with 175hp and it started to misfire at 1/2 track. I think the coils are not up to the task. Spark plugs looked good. So We will have new coil in it before next run. But heat indexe of 109 F makes for slow cars and hot humans.

    Nice try!
Hope you can solve the misfire issue...so we can see how fast it is! Click here to enlarge

I'm a newbie in N2O, and here in Europe almost nobody uses it, so could you please tell me what this 175hp shot represents?
Is it a given N2O mass flow/injector size, what about the pressure of the system??

Another question, your M52 is fully stock, even intake mani, right?

All stock with an eBay header. The system is a wet shot meaning it provides fuel and nitrous. It is port injection meaning each port has its own nitrous nozzle. Running stock fuel pressure with a fuel pump out of a 750li. I used the stock intake manifold by removing the emissions stuff from the top of the manifold and drilling then tapping the holes to 1/8" not. Then screwed the nitrous nozzles into the intake. The nitrous are metered by jets installed at each nozzle.
