    N54 intake

    Hey. What if on n54 install filters directly to these places without adapters?Click here to enlarge

    I did it recently cause i didn't have inlets, put some mesh around the inlets and drove like that.
    It was a short trip and outside temp was rly cold, around 2C, intake temps were at 8C at low speed highway cruising.

    You've still gotta clean your filters, its just not practical to put them there

    6C over ambiant ? Its pretty good, but that was cruising only and car was not really warm.
    I'm gonna try direct filters if i can.

    Just seems like it would suck up hot air in theory. Most OEM's route their airboxes the way they do for a reason.
