Renntech gets over 660 horsepower at the wheels out of the C190 AMG GT M178 with their R730 turbo upgrade

Renntech continues to impress on the M177 and M178 twin turbo 4.0 liter V8 engine platforms. As a quick refresher Renntech's R1 package consisting of an ECU tune, downpipes, and air filters produces about 548 horsepower to the wheels.

Their Stage 2 M178 turbo upgrade package resulted in 625 horsepower to the wheels. Now they have pushed the M178 even further and hit 660 wheel horsepower:

To BenzBoost's knowledge, no tuner has yet topped 660 wheel horsepower meaning Renntech currently has the most powerful C190 AMG GT although comparing different dyno types is tricky. To be noted, it is a very good looking graph and curve.

We are waiting on more details from Renntech but it looks like 700+ whp AMG GT's are not very far off.

Well, crap, I didn't realize GAD had one that strong.

However, it is reading in PS and Renntech provided the SuperFlow wheel figure.

I'd love to write about it and put up more details but GAD isn't a vendor.

Out of respect for Renntech perhaps we move the GAD discussion to its own thread?

730 R Package means 730-735 PS at the crank. Now compare with GAD...

I might've heard wrong, but my buddy sent his GTS to Weistec for tuning and a methanol kit a couple weeks ago, and I thought he said it baselined at 720 whp on Weistec's dyno. It's still there as far as I know.
When I say baselined, I mean with the W.3 standard package.

I realize this but I still want the wheel output.

Regardless, it's difficult to compare like this as we don't know the GAD mods or cost. Your GAD build for example is way more than most people will do.

The Remntech offering is designed to be reliable for the factory gearbox. Their m177 package does 700 to the wheels for example.
