    • Race Chip GTS Black piggyback tuning results on a Porsche 991.1 Turbo S - +40 horsepower

Race Chip offers piggyback tuning boxes for a variety of German cars that are easy to install and provide solid if not unspectacular results. With the Porsche 991.1 Turbo platform being with us for some time now, why would one opt for a Race Chip piggyback over a flash?

Warranty is no longer a concern for many 991.1 Turbos but there is of course also the ease of installation. Plug it in, you're done. It's very simply to use.

Look at the dyno results on a MAHA at the crank:

Gains throughout the entire curve and a mild 40 peak horsepower picked up tuned only.

      Measured stock performance:
      568 HP (576 PS) and 575 lb-ft (779 Nm)

      RaceChip GTS Black:
      608 HP (616 HP) and 643 lb-ft (872 Nm)

Before and after acceleration numbers to be published soon.

"solid if not unspectacular results" It's not much of a power gain, compared to a regular ECU flash?

It's a solid gain just not as good as a custom flash tune.

They're picking up 40 crank. A flash is doing 47 awhp:

The torque gain with a flash is higher as well:
