    • BMW F10 M5 Competition vs. stock W213 Mercedes-AMG E63 S rolling acceleration

This video conveniently comes on the heels of an aftermarket tuned BMW F90 M5 taking on a stock Mercedes-AMG E63 S. The F10 M5 Competition of course makes less power than the tuned F90 M5 but what is has going for it is rear wheel drive and a dual clutch transmission.

That makes it pretty potent from a roll. Potent enough, in fact, that paired with aftermarket downpipes the Competition F10 M5 can take the new W213 E63 S. It certainly helps the F10 weighs 300+ pounds less.

What BimmerBoost suspects is that from a roll, the F10 will be just as good if not better than the F90 M5 at similar power levels. It would be interesting to see a tune only F10 M5 go at it with a tune only F90 M5 from a roll.

The F10 was truly ahead of its time...wicked fast even when stock. Really a monsterous car.
