    • AMS Performance gets monster Alpha ECU tune calibration gains out of a McLaren 570S M838T

The numbers here are ridiculous and it goes to show the 570S is not giving up much of anything to its McLaren big brothers in the lineup. As a matter of fact, a tuned MP4-12C will not be able to approach these figures.

We are talking almost 600 at the wheels for horsepower and just over 600 lb-ft of torque at the wheels:

The AMS torque figure is insane. 610 lb-ft at the wheels? STD correction no doubt helps a bit but BoostAddict.com can not find anyone else topping 600 lb-ft at the wheels tune only.

That increase is 188 lb-ft of torque at the wheels over stock. It levels off toward redline but the meat in the middle gained is nuts. The 570S is definitely tuned more for torque down low compared to its siblings.

Peak horsepower only goes up by 57 horses at the wheels but that horsepower peak also arrives almost 1000 rpm earlier.

This is a rocket but just imagine if that torque curve held to redline...
