    • APR is the first to get the RS3 sedan into the 9's - 2018 Audi RS3 2.5 TFSI runs 9.8@144 1/4 mile on stock internals

This is huge. Congratulations to APR on being the first in the 9's with the 8V Audi RS3 Sedan and its 2.5 TFSI motor. Especially considering they managed to be the first in the 9's on the new 2.5 TFSI platform using the heavier RS3 sedan rather than the lighter TT chassis.

This car is making some serious power. It is also doing it on the stock 2.5 liter I5 motor which is just mind blowing. This is McLaren 720S level performance people.

      Mods:

      2018 Audi RS3 2.5 TFSI
APR ECU & TCU Upgrades with E85
      TTE625 Drop-in Stock-Housing Turbo
      Intake System
Straight-Pipe / Dump Tube Exhaust System
      Intercooler System
      Fueling System
      18x8.5 Wheels
      245x40R18 Hoosier Drag Radials
      Seats Removed

Now look at the density altitude for the passes:

      9.96@141.64 - 2,175 FT Density Altitude (86.7F, 29%, 29.87 In.Hg.)
      9.97@141.86 - 2,187 FT Density Altitude (86.1F, 31%, 29.87 In.Hg.)
      9.96@141.53 - 2,197 FT Density Altitude (86.0F, 32%, 29.87 In.Hg.)
      9.86@142.20 - 1,924 FT Density Altitude (81.4F, 40%, 29.86 In.Hg.)
      9.91@142.47 - 1,930 FT Density Altitude (80.3F, 47%, 29.87 In.Hg.)
      9.89@000.00 - 1,571 FT Density Altitude (74.6F, 61%, 29.87 In.Hg.)
      9.83@144.39 - 1,382 FT Density Altitude (71.3F, 69%, 29.88 In.Hg.)
      9.90@144.41 - 1,341 FT Density Altitude (70.8F, 69%, 29.88 In.Hg.)

These results are not a product of negative DA conditions or super cold weather. These are realistic, repeatable results. Frankly, the conditions were pretty unfavorable at the Montgomery Motorsports Park.

Congratulations to owner Keith Brantley as well as APR for pulling this off.

It's safe to say the new 8V RS3 and MKIII TT-RS are the best bang for the buck tuning platforms in the German automotive world today. Hell, even 911 Turbos better watch out.

This car is quick! I want to say thank you to Keith Brantley for giving us the opportunity to make his RS3 fast. A special shout-out to Jeffrey Sanders and Montgomery Raceway Park for their hospitality and track prep! And thank you to Richard Conniff at Jack Ingram for all our VW, Audi and Porsche purchases!

How soon until this upgrade is released? People are going to jump all over this.

I can't even imagine the look on people's faces when a TT-RS rips them a new... you know.

Can't say quite yet - Still need to wrap up program switching / encryption on the ECU to protect it, then we'll start rolling out software stages (1, 2, 3) for various octanes, including E85. Hardware is getting close too!

Wow. This is with a hybrid freaking turbo, too. I'm sure IROZ will fire back with one of their cars that have an actual turbo/manifold upgrade. This also means the TT RS is going to be running deep 9's at nearly 150mph with some very basic mods. I love it.

Anything passed that. The Rs3 that just ran 168 in the half is stock long block + turbo kit.

I'm a big fan, but personally still looking for a last gen (Mk2) TT RS in my neck of the woods. My understanding is that the hybrid turbo used in this pass will bolt right up to that car. 6 speed + very reasonably priced power = win.

yeah that is the even crazier part, hybrid turbo, not even a big turbo kit Click here to enlarge

Well this will come with typical APR quality. Completely reliable setup.

No doubt this is not where things end. They have forged internals already ready. I wonder what big turbo they'll go to?

I might have to get one just because at this point.
