    • 0-300 kph comparison - W213 Mercedes-AMG E63 S vs. BMW F90 M5 vs. Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid vs. Cadillac CTS-V

Comparing speedometer videos like this is flawed but we still get to see what the acceleration looks like from the inside and get a general idea of what is the quickest of the bunch.

What we know for Certain is the Cadillac is the slowest. It is not able to hit 300 kph in the alloted distance for testing. Considering the Cadillac is rated at 650 horsepower and it is the lightest of the group that should tell you all you need to know about the accuracy of the German horsepower ratings.

The E63 S hits an indicated 300 kph first, followed by the F90 M5, and then the Panamera which is very close.

To get the sprint figures we'll have to wait until Sport Auto publishes the test results.

^ My man! Thank you @Vasily1.

Do you have anything higher resolution by any chance?

The data is from the same magazine as the video. In brief, being ca.100kg lighter doesn't help M5 to loose 2 seconds from 200km/h to 280km/h. Up to 200 from stand still both cars are pretty even.

I hope this test is redone with the F90 M5 CP, I think a little more power will put the M5 at the top.

Isnt the CTS-V also the only RWD car in the testing group?

Its also the lightest car by at least 200lbs vs. the M5, has the 2nd highest peak horsepower and the highest peak torque.

But those power/torque numbers are all skewed to what the german companies report, they either make more than reported or the CTS-V makes less than its reporting. Can't have it both ways...

Just came across this on IG. Interesting how in comparison videos, the AMG usually pulls, but in real life, the M5 takes the lead.
