    • Yet another home built M3 wagon this time an F81 Touring with an S55 swap

Why all of these home built M3 wagons of all a sudden? Who knows but while BMW does not seem to think there is a market guys are building their own versions. The other day BimmerBoost shared an E91 M3 wagon with an S65 V8 but this is an F81 with the S55 twin turbo 3.0 I6.

Which one do you prefer? It's hard to choose but it is not hard to admit this is an awesome build.

Considering just how awesome it is, where are more details? All we have are a few photos and some minor details.

Apparently SMV Repair in the UK did the work: https://www.facebook.com/smvrepairs/

Looks like the car was tuned by BimmerBoost vendor Evolve Automotive.

Time for some videos of this beast in action!

        The owner previously had a supercharged E91 M3. And a E36 M3 Evo Estate.

Seems he has a thing for M wagons. That's cool.

Love me some wagons. This is really cool but I bet was super expensive to do.

        Super impressive Superman wagon!

BMW fails so badly. At the very least they should bring in a few hundred Alpina Touring every year.

Alpina is idiotic for not jumping on this niche.

I’d give my reaction but I don’t think it’s polite.

Wonder how much of the chassis has been swapped over, the underpinnings of the M3 are quite different from a standard F30 right? I’m sure it’s very doable though, the unibody is probably mostly the same minus the subframes I’m guessing.

Regarldess, this is incredible, I’d give a lot to drive this every day. The older I get (and the more times I move) the more I realize having a fast wagon would be rather nice. I love sedans but this is the next best thing if you need the space, and I often find myself needing it. Sometimes it’s nice to bring things home from the store instead of ordering from Amazon...

I wish BMW would do what MB does and just accept the wagons won’t be a money-making product here in the US but still offer M versions and sell them here anyway, the E63 wagon sells about as well as you could expect an ultra-high-performance six-figure wagon to sell, and I bet BMW would sell at least a few M3/M5 wagons. If they sold the E61 M5 over here I would have bought one instead of my sedan....

It looks so good. I would pass on the red interior but that body / paint combo is beautiful.

Sign me up! I love the surge of performance wagons I have been seeing lately. Definitely a wagon in my future.
