    • Where's the graph? GIAC releases Porsche 911 (991.2) GTS ecu tuning software claiming 60+ horsepower gains

Where is the dynograph GIAC? Seriously, how does a tuner release a new product they are claiming large gains on without proof? GIAC should know better as they made this mistake previously with their 991.2 Carrera S software only to later release the dynograph after BoostAddict.com protested.

Well, here is GIAC making the same mistake again. Here we are complaining about it again. Everyone wants to know what a 991.2 GTS makes on the dyno especially a Dynojet. Instead, this is what we get:

Who cares about their 'estimate' of the output? Just show the freaking unedited graph.

GIAC also claims to have a race gas tune but has yet to show any race gas numbers. GIAC told BoostAddict.com in a phone call they were reaching fuel system limits but our own testing has not encountered any fuel system limitations with race gas. A bit concerning considering their head start on the platform.

Not only has BoostAddict.com shown race gas dyno numbers with the PorscheBoost Project 991.2 we are currently doing E85 testing.

Maybe GIAC is avoiding posting graphs for a reason? Maybe that reason is they are making much less power? Either way, GIAC seems to be yesterday's news when it comes to serious 991.2 tuning.

These guys need to invest in a marketing department badly. At the very least, have the R&D department dictate necessary information to include for press releases.

I was pursuing this tune for a while but after the multitude of unreturned calls, misinformation and nonsense releases, Ill be waiting this out. Watching their business practices over there is painful. I cannot speak to their tunes, but they certainly don't inspire confidence in their numbers or customer service from what I've seen thus far.

Seriously. They might be one of the worst out there when it comes to communication and documentation.

GTS turbos and GIAC software on a base 991.2, tempting with the upcoming track season.

If you need beta testers in the midwest, my car is on winter tires, driving it everyday

        Thanks.

Right now we need to get the turbos tuned on my car to get the software sorted.

After that, we can start spreading the turbos out.
