    • Gen V Dodge Viper ACR destroys everything in its path setting lap records on 13 tracks

Holy crap! The Viper ACR is the baddest thing on four wheels. Find that hard to believe? How about the new track special Viper setting overall production lap records on thirteen tracks? Dodge released videos of every record today basically letting the world know who is boss around the racetrack.

Why is this impressive? Well, holding a production lap record on a major roadcourse is one thing. Doing it thirteen times on separate road courses is something else entirely. It's domination.

Dodge also takes back the Laguna Seca lap record besting... wait for it... the Porsche 918 Spyder. The new record is 1:28.65. The record was 1:29.89. What does the Porsche 918 Spyder cost and what does the Viper ACR cost again? Which has more power and torque? You have google, you figure it out.

If you wish to watch the laps at each track go here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...-d-ZQFVNs0HLuP

Below you will find the record setting lap for Laguna Seca as well as Virginia International Raceway.

      All hail the king.

Dodge did this in spectacular fashion.

BMW claims so and so Nurburgring time but posts no video.

Dodge says we set the record on 13 tracks and here is the proof for all thirteen.

THAT is how you make a statement.

I love this car and what Dodge is doing.

Imagine if Ferrari didn't hold the power output back...

I would hope it set some records. It is basically a street legal race car. I mean look at the f*cking aero on that car.
