    • Weistec launches 2019 on Lamborghini Huracan EVO W.1 and W.2 ECU flash tunes

Squeezing power out of the already aggressively tuned Lamborghini Huracan EVO is not easy. The 5.2 liter V10 is a high strung naturally aspirated motor and Lamborghini themselves tries to eek out every last horse.

Getting gains here is not the same as just increasing boost as most tuners do with turbo motors. Here, it takes real skill and the margin for error is very low.

The Huracan EVO shares the Huracan Performante motor with output of 631 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque.

This is the baseline on Weistec's AWD Dynojet overlaid with the W.1 tune on pump gas:

Weistec picked up gains through the entire curve with software alone. Peak horsepower rises by almost 20 horsepower at four wheels on 91 octane.

The W.2 tune requires a full exhaust and takes output to 719 crank horsepower. No graph was shared with BoostAddict of the W.2 tune.

Excellent work here by Weistec Engineering.
