    • RS3 2.5 TFSI getting bump to 450 hp? Next gen Audi RS3 sedan and sportback spotted testing

This is a rumor being spread by Auto Motor Und Sport. Apparently the RS3 will get a bump to 450 horsepower and that likely is in response to the Mercedes-AMG M139 motor. This 450 horsepower RS3 may be an RS3 Plus model.

We do not know. What we do know is Audi is testing the RS3 with multiple mules including a sedan and a sportback model.

Will Audi just stand pat on the drivetrain? That is something Audi does not seem to have a problem with but AudiBoost expects a modest increase in power at the very least.

I really like that sportback. Will they add power seats for this new generation?

I have the Sportseats (non-power - the base seats are powered) in my S3 and LOVE them. Donít miss the power seats at all - thought I would, but really donít. And it does save some weight - maybe 15-20lbs. I definitely wouldnít let the lack of power seats keep you from an RS3.

Excited for the new generation. The S3 sedan looks amazing - Iím sure the RS3 will be even better.
