    • BBi Porsche 991.2 Carrera 4 GTS Cobb protune results - 450 awhp

BBi is a Porsche shop and tuner located in Orange County, California. They are primarily known for their installation and track work services. They do have an in-house tuner named Jared Deputy who was able to do a Protune on this 991.2 Carrera 4 GTS.

Autowave is located close to BBi and offers a Mainline dynamometer. It is nice to see numbers from various dyno types to compare.

BBi picks up 60 awhp and 77 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. A very nice software only increase:

Peak power comes at 5704 rpm so there is much more meat under the left side and early in the rpm range but the turbos quickly run out of breath despite being the larger GTS units.

Frankly, the power curve drops a bit early after the peak at 5700 rpm. This is partially due to the way the car is tuned but also due to the turbos simply not being able to hold the torque curve.

With a nice set of hybrid upgraded turbos this car would be doing 550+ awhp with a much prettier top end power curve.
