    • RS Tuning BMW F87 M2 Competition S55 tuning results with map switching, torque per gear, and multiple modes using EcuTek's BMW F-Series Tuning package

EcuTek's entry in the BMW world is providing stout competition to established tuners and opening up new tuning options. It's a great thing to see. Posted below are results from Paul Murray at RS Tuning on a BMW F87 M2 Competition using the EcuTek software suite.

There are a couple things to keep in mind here. First of all, this is not an all out power tune and still being refined. Furthermore, the dyno type is a Dyno Dynamics in Shootout mode.

Pay attention to the curve and gains before/after more than peak figures:

The nice thing is you can switch maps on the fly:

      Map Switching:
      Map 1 99 RON
Map 2 99 RON Pops & Bangs (disabled currently as stock OPF in place)
Map 3 99 RON with full torque control on the steering wheel controls
Map 4 95 RON Also with full torque control

Anti theft mode (no throttle but runs)

User adjustable torque limits in gear 1-3 (Requires bluetooth dongle and app)

Custom sports dispays to show requested torque while switching
Anti-theft mode is possible, valet mode, etc. Keep in mind you can also control torque per gear. This is yet another nice feature to have especially when bigger turbos come into play.

      Simply awesome flexibility:

As they are UK based the spread into the US BMW market won't be as quick but man they're stuff is impressive.

Pretty sure the Nissan GTR guys rate EcuTek highly.
