    • More C8 Audi RS6 tuning results - MTM Stage 1 EA825 4.0 V8 hit 787 horsepower (for 10,000 Euros)

      The numbers you see here are very close to what HGP posted the other day for the C8 Audi RS6 EA825 4.0 V8 twin turbo platform. It seems the German tuners are thus far putting out Stage 1 ECU tunes that mirror each other.

      787 metric horsepower and 770 lb-ft of torque are nice peak figures:

      MTM did not include an overlay over stock though or GPS numbers.

      They posted these figures:

      In Stage 1 we reach the following data:

      600 HP -> 787 HP
      800 NM -> 1030 NM

      0-100 km / h 3.1 s
      0-200 km / h 9.8 s
      Certainly nice numbers but show us how you arrived at them. Only the tuned figure has a dyno supporting the output claim.

      HGP and MTM are both pricing their tunes at close to 10,000 Euros including tax. That is simply outlandish and anyone who pays that number instead of waiting for a US source is a sucker.

        Get the car to me and I'll get a working JB4 system on there in a couple of hours for Alpha testing that's going to be about 1/15th of that 11k cost LOL

        Keep in mind that the German tuners must go through TUV (Technischer Uberwachungsverein) certification to market their products for German public road use which adds to their overhead costs. Fortunately, in the US, we don't need to deal with that.

        Can't Gintani do a tune + dp for a third of the price seeing as they have that going for the Urus already? These guys are having a laugh.

        That's the process by where you throw money at this girl until she leaves you alone, right?

        Yes.

        These guys inflated their price for early adopters (guys with new RS6's and money). It will drop by half if not more in a few months.

        I for one just learned how good this engine sounds. On the street nearby where I live a guy got into a Urus and did a WOT pull for probably 300 ft. An exhaust + tune RS6 is going to be just wonderful.
