    • Stage 1 pump gas MHD/PureBoost.de BMW F97 X3M S58 engine tune shows ~650 horsepower

You saw the stock numbers for this F97 X3M last month from PureBoost.de as they measured it from 100-200 kph and on their MAHA dynamometer. Well, now it has a Stage 1 S58 pump gas tune and output is up to roughly 650 horsepower.

Keep in mind they have higher octane pump fuels available than most of us in the USA so 102 RON is roughly 95 octane:

They picked up 94 PS or metric horses at the wheels over the stock figure. That certainly is more than 100 horsepower gained at the crank but this dyno type is conservative compared to a Dynojet.

Let's just say this X3M is conservatively making 650+ horsepower tune only.

The G80 M3 is going to be bananas.

Yeah but how heavy will the chassis be and will we get manual option?

True, seams no manufacturer cares about weight anymore. I just wish we could get this motor in say a 2600 lb nice stiff chassis. Doesn't seem that complicated to me.

This car is going to accelerate extremely well but it's no longer an M3. It's a mini M5 which itself became an E63.

Maybe BMW will shock us with the Pure version. I could even forgive that grill if the manual and rwd variant is 3600 pounds.

The British sports car magazine Evo is not at all impressed about the X3M: https://www.evo.co.uk/bmw/x3/202087/...-wrong-package

I get pissed seeing a door ding on my car and that’s something that gets fixed. I can’t fathom having to walk up to that grill daily. I’d regret it every time.

Manual rwd will be interesting. The biggest factor will be gear ratios. From the x3m we are presuming they are literally just throwing a m3 body on it. The manual rwd will be maybe a few hundred lighter...i could see it easily coming in at 3600. The ugly grill like most things you get used to it and with demand im sure there will be new bumpers available very quickly.
