    • VTT (Vargas Turbo) B58 engine GC cast GTX3076R turbo upgrade coming with GC+ GTX3582R to follow

You may recall BimmerBoost announced VTT (Vargas Turbo Technologies) was working on a 'GC' cast B58 turbo upgrade a few months back. Well, here it is. The B58 GC turbo from VTT features a GTX3076R compressor wheel.

There is also a GC+ turbocharger coming based around a GTX3582R compressor which will replace the entire factory unit:

Our newly cast B58 "GC" units are right around the corner with our GC's (shown) being released first (pre-sale will begin around Black Friday) which are a GTX3076R compressor wheel, and a 9 blade Garret profile turbine wheel in Mar-M 246 material for ultimate durability. With the GC+ coming after that (hopefully around the new year) which is a complete unit including turbine manifold/housing utilizing GTX3582R compressor wheel, and GT35 turbine which matches the Garrett RS profile.

The regular GC will drop right into the factory turbine housing, the GC+ replaces the entire unit. As always no cores, direct play, and play with all oil, and water lines. We also believe the regular GC will drop directly into the A90 Supra's making it the FIRST completely new casting upgrade on the market with no core charges. We can't wait to get the sample and get it tested.
No core exchange and a plug and play solution sounds pretty darn good.

Now to see some results from the GC's and hopefully the GC+ units as well.

        Joe,

This is our production sample. We will put it through its paces, and wring it out with proper testing prior to giving the full green light for the production run. Once that is done, we will announce pricing, and begin taking orders. We are close, but not quite ready to release yet. Getting there!

I thought you were taking orders for the GC units so you can buy them now, right?

No sir, we do not need pre-order proceeds to fund large production runs these days. If we happen to do a pre-order its to boost public awareness of the coming product, and boost buzz around it. We will most likely be close to releasing production models around Black Friday and will open up in-stock sales or Pre-sales at that time on the GC. The GC+ closer to the end of the year or Q1 2020, with GC+ for the A90 Supra to follow. The GC+ longer lead times are due to the complicated design, and casting process for the turbofold, and need to cast a different version for the A90. All turbine housings will be cast in 310SS.
