    • McLaren 720S topping 900 rwhp on the factory M840T turbos with methanol injection and Dyno Spectrum tuning - Stock, pump+meth, race+meth dynos

Dyno Spectrum is extracting more power from the factory McLaren 720S M840T turbocharger than, well, anyone else. Just take a look at this example hitting 905 rear wheel horsepower with race gas and methanol injection.

Let's take a look at the graphs at various stages of tuning and fuel.

      Race + meth:

Overlay pump gas 836 rwhp, pump + meth 874 rwhp, race gas + meth 905 rwhp:

      All overlaid with factory tune:

Another 200 whp over stock with race gas and meth on the factory turbos is simply astonishing.

      What a beast!

Love the results, for sure they are good at what they do... SAE correction Click here to enlarge doesnt get any more fair than that...

I wont deny the curve on top looks extreme and the sudden drop right around 8k is not just highly uncommon for a stock turbo car, but it reassembles the very distinguished nitrous shot abnormal shape, I wonder if they forgot to include this into the mods used to produce this power, or this if just a incorrect assumption from my end!

I definitely hope this isn't one where the nitrous wasn't disclosed. The torque curve does take an interesting jump.

Also @kbaldi29 where are all those graphs I asked for especially the McLaren ones Click here to enlarge

This is another car tuned at 6000+ elevation so just wanted to point that out. Maybe @Mitch@Dyno Spectrum can shed some light.

Im sorry for disturbing the waters unnecessarily if it wasnt used on this vehicle, but I am really was curious about the shape of the graph.

As far as the graphs @Sticky, I am pulling my hair out with a few things, as soon as I get over this humps will get on top of all of it, my apologies for the wait.

No problem. I'm not only curious as to the results but want to write some articles on the tuning.

Honestly, I think your question is very fair.
