    • ~500 whp the limit of the factory B58 turbocharger? BMW F21 M140i hits 501 whp flash tuned only

You can count the number of factory turbo B58's topping 500 horsepower on one hand. It seems the limit or at least pretty darn close to it is that ~500 wheel range for the factory BMW B58 turbocharger. The last car we saw top 500 was a JB4 + BEF tuned 340xi.

This M140i managed to also just eek out out a 501 whp Dynojet graph:

      Mods:
      E30 fuel and WMI
      Catless downpipe
      Wagner Radiator
      Remus race exhaust

Yes, methanol is helping. It is also running an E30 ethanol blend.

So far to BimmerBoost's knowledge this is the only flash tuned B58 to top 500 whp on the factory turbo.

Once again, real world pump fuels would be much more indicative of what the engine can deliver on the road consistently.

I thought when people said 'E30" they were referring to a mixture of premium fuel and E85 that represents approximately an E30 (30% ethanol) fuel.

I didn't think it was a special racing gas purchased in a drum called "E30"

They are. Not sure why you took it otherwise.
