    • Heads/Cam Gen V Dodge Viper vs. Europower Stage I Twin Turbo Huracan + DME Tuning Stage 3 AMG GT S with Pure Turbos M178 turbo upgrade

You should know this Viper well as it is often featured on the pages of BoostAddict. Why? Because the owner can drive and does some great videos. Most recently this Viper ran a McLaren 720S and put up an impressive fight against the monster McLAren.

In the video below the Heads/Cam Viper is matched up first with a Europower Stage I twin turbo Lamborghini Huracan. A boosted Huracan should not have trouble with a naturally aspirated Viper even if the Huracan is on stock internals.

The top is down on the Spyder which does not help aerodynamics but the Viper impressively pulls it. This is despite being naturally aspirated and not benefitting from a dual clutch transmission.

Not a good showing for the Europower Huracan.

A C190 Mercedes-AMG GT S is next and this car has DME Tuning's Stage 3 software package designed for the Pure Turbos M178 turbocharger upgrade. The AMG GT S is heavier than the Viper by roughly 500 pounds but it does have a dual clutch transmission and a twin turbo V8 of course.

The Viper impressively pulls the AMG GT S in every run.

Finally the AMG GT S and Huracan run. The GT S opens a lead but the Huracan claws back until they shut down with the AMG GT S ahead.

Great run videos as usual from this Viper.

        I really want one.

It's everything enthusiasts say they supposedly want. Low weight, strong NA motor, manual trans, 50/50 weight distribution, plenty of aftermarket support, etc.

The truth is enthusiasts say they want a manual but when it comes down to it they don't buy it.

You should do it. It seems like prices are actually leveled out / slightly creeping up for Gen Vs. I can't believe a H/C/I NA manual is pulling a twin turbo V10 DCT. It's madness.

Wouldn't be good for the forum. Maybe one day I'll add one to the garage.

That isn't even an aggressive heads/cam setup he has. You can make over 700 whp with them NA.

        The Viper V10 engine rocks.

        I have a 725HP V10 in my boat!

Viper is a manual too! That didn't survive the 720 S tho.
