    • BMS JB4 helps a second gen Acura NSX get into the 10's at over 130 miles per hour in the 1/4 mile

Is there anything BMS (Burger Tuning) is not tuning these days? Who could have predicted a JB4 would be helping the NSX set record times at the dragstrip? Who could have predicted the NSX would need a JB4 to impress anyway?

Frankly, the NSX is a sales failure and a flop. The stock performance is nothing to write home about considering the all wheel drive hybrid drivetrain including 3.5 liter twin turbo V6.

An NSX owner by the name of nsxjon decided to try out a BMS JB4 tune on his NSX at PBIR (Palm Beach International Raceway).

His runs are impressive especially when you consider he is running quicker and faster times than an ECU tuned example at the same strip tuned by Hydra tuning:

The JB4 is providing quicker and faster times than a custom dyno tuned example? Damn.

Consistent 10.6X's at 130.X. Certainly respectable.

"Is there anything BMS (Burger Tuning) is not tuning these days?" Yes there is.... 2012-2015 M278 bi turbo E550's. I actually emailed them a little while back and am somewhat local to them to see if they can tune my car.....

But in regards to the NSX that is AWESOME work!!

Small market but it may be something I can look into since you're local.
Email me and we'll set something up.

Email sent and thank you very much for the quick response. I didn't mean to hijack your awesome NSX accomplishments

Also important to consider that this car has upgraded downpipes, not sure how much those would give above just a tune on the NSX but probably something.

It's the FB post on here: https://www.scienceofspeed.com/

        And dynographs here: https://www.scienceofspeed.com/index...x-2017-on.html

        Very good point.

I'm not sure if the Hydra car had exhaust mods I would have to back and look. Either way though, a JB4 NSX is running quicker and faster than one with Hydra's custom dyno tuning.

I assume BMS will also look into the next GLC53 as it also has electric motor in addition. Hint hint ;-)
