    • LAAS 2018 - People love the new 2020 BMW F17 X7 xDrive50i

What exciting car had the biggest crowd around it at BMW's 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show booth? The new G29 Z4? Maybe the G14 M850i convertible? The new G20 3-Series? Nope, it was the big new X7 SUV drawing the crowds.

It is not hard to see why BMW is investing so much in SUV's. They sell. The X7 was a hit with the Los Angeles crowd and California will be one of the largest sales markets.

As far as the styling, boy is it big, but handsome. The front with the giant kidney grills takes some getting used to but the lights are gorgeous and the 3-row interior is very well done.

BMW will sell plenty of these. So why is it if SUV's sell and make BMW tons of money that we still can not get a Z4 M?

Assuredly a very nice truck. Sat in a last generation X5M at the dealer a few weekends ago and it was quite nice for a high car/truck/crossover. But 19 mpg on the EPA sticker gave me pause. Better than my 10 MPG Suburbans for sure, but just not enough unless you need to carry 4 or 5 other people all of the time.

Sorry, you're on this site - to do with performance - and you're on about fuel consumption?! AS AN AMERICAN WITH A SURBURBAN! I've got a X5 50i, a M3, and a 2019 Mustang GT- and 4 business cars - IN AUSTRALIA, but YOU'RE complaining about fuel consumption?!

G07 is the chassis code not F17. F nameplate is retired.
