    • BimmerBoost.com project BMW E92 M3 sets new stock internal S65 V8 power record with 663 rwhp Mustang pull - Gintani Stage X

You might be saying, hold on, I've seen stock internal S65's clear 700 rwhp. Yes, you have, but on a Dynojet. This is the highest output recorded on a Mustang dyno for an E92 M3 stock internal S65 V8 whether supercharged or turbocharged.

The car will get on a Dynojet next week so we will know for certain what the record is but just look at this graph:

That power curve is a thing of beauty.

      As for the mods:

      - ARH headers
      - Gintani Stage X supercharger kit
      - Vortech V2 T-Trim
      - Upgraded fuel system
      - Ignite Red ethanol
      - 10.5 psi of boost
      - Custom Gintani Valvetronic rear section

That this was hit at only 10.5 psi of boost speaks volumes as to the tuning quality and efficiency of the platform.

I think I want to upgrade to the new Dodson setup and get the axles done too.

What injectors? Odd question, but having spent a lot of time in the mss60 disassembly, it's odd to me that most tuners haven't figured out how to properly characterize injectors and just scale them instead.

You would have to ask @Sales@Gintani.com about the fuel system.

Mustang dynamometers (and usually the people who run them) tend to be closer to the truth than most other rollers.

So on a stock S65 with the stock connecting rod bearings? Which oil in the crankcase?

Upgraded bearings. Not sure on the oil.

So is this strictly an Ignite Red ethanol car, or could you go to a (significantly) more conservative tune and run around on pump gas if necessary?

It is a street E85 tune. That is what I'll run.

91 pump I'm not even interested in but I'll get a time for it for the handheld just in case I can't find ethanol.

Power looks good, looking forward to seeing it at an event. Honestly is there anything worse than music over a dyno video?

What the chance the m3 4+ years in the making by Gintani takes down the VTT shop car or white BMS 135?

Be interesting to see what it puts down on a dynojet and then overlay some N54 dynos Click here to enlarge This is basically a maxed out S65(as the twin turbos from Gintani barely seem to exist) be neat to see it against a maxed out N54.

        This is a stock internal M3 on a T-Trim.

It's fast but it's not the fastest E9X like it was when it was built motor with a YSI where nothing could touch it.

It's technically a bolt on setup.

To see it 'maxed' you would need a built motor with a built block and high boost. You could run turbos then too.

This is fairly mild but it's just strong because the engine base is so efficient.

Shame no one seems to be pushing the S65 past 'bolt ons'. Yours was the most pushed I was ever aware of.

There's a couple interesting projects in the works but unlike the GTR we don't have off the shelf solutions for virtually everything.
