    • Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS vs. McLaren 720 S drag race

The testing data we have already tells us the GT2 RS is slightly slower than the McLaren 720S in a drag race. Seeing numbers and real world results are two different things and this video does a good job putting the real world difference in context.

Keep in mind the 720S dynos more horsepower to the wheels than the GT2 RS and it is lighter. The advantage the GT2 RS has in a drag race is more weight over the rear which should provide a traction boost.

The 720S in the run below is able to make up for the traction decitifit and easily catch and pass the GT2 RS. It makes Porsche's best look slow.

Well the GT2 RS at least gets close and can beat it on the track.
