Mike, Hagi, and Craig are consumate racers, they are pros and it shows.

Mike's car just flat out dominated, no more excuses from others about negative DA only performances, 132+ traps (plural) and a 10.78 ET to cap the day off is just insane.

I will have all Mike's videos (all 50 of them lol) as well as the SL's and mthis's up by Sunday.

    Just got in, freaking exhausted.

    Mike's record slip:

Ok, posted about this on the front page but not sure of the mod list.

What is accounting for the 7 mph increase in trap speed from the previous 10 second slip? 7 mph is no joke.

    Sticky,

We went over this before Click here to enlarge Mike on 1/6/11 trapped 131 six times, 130mph, seven times, all in the 10s. See M156 forum Click here to enlarge

Mike's changes were going back to stock airboxes from Gruppe M (change is otw but wasn't ready), MHP 3" Race Catback.

Working on editing vids now. I'll provide a complete write up of the days events worthy of the front page by tomorrow.

    Thanks

Sorry, I read a ton of posts and don't remember every detail about all them.

Was that run just lower because he hooked well?

Thanks, would really appreciate that writeup. Saves me time as 3 front pages / blogs to maintain is really a ton of work.

    http://www.benzboost.com/showthread....10.9-131.78mph!!!!

Yeah his 60's were incredible especially considering the air. 1.58-1.59 in a car with 2.85 rear gearing lol. His traps were just as astonishing as last time out DA was -1000', this time +500-1250'.

These guys work hard to optimize their setups. All the credit in the world to Hagi, Mike and Craig. They are like a well oiled machine.

So the stock airbox was better than the Gruppe M? Or the Gruppe M does not provide all that much benefit? Maybe hard to say because of the Catback?

    Mods put on the car:
    Mhp custom tune
    Mhp headers
    Mhp race exhust
    Mhp thermal gaskets
    Mhp thermometer
    Carbonio airbox tops
    Kw coilovers
    Evosport rotors
    Sparco evo 3 seat
    Revosport carbon hood
    Vis carbon trunk

    Since last track day:

    Rear evosport rotors
    Race exhust
    Sparco seat

I lightend the car up since last run
    - 63 front driver seat + 25 for sparco seat and custom bracket
    -38 rear seats
    -12 rotational mass evosport breaks
-** idk Mhp race exhust (will weight soon)

Changed some suspension setup ride height and dampning

This car is a beast it will do better it has more in it

Plus with Craig there watching every detail of every launch shift so on.. we picked up on a few let's say launch procedures that in the last 20 min of the rental really started to pay off.. A fresh set off tire and another day maybe better da and this car is going to fly
