    458 runs at the strip - 11.22 @ 132 on street tires

132 trap? Holy crap. Not sure what strip this was, 45 degrees out so likely negative DA. Ok, now I believe it is the real deal:

ZR1 has actually hit around 10.7. But regardless who cares...its also down about 70hp and made the same trap speed. Shows you how well it can apply its power and efficient it is. They didnt build the car to drag race. Thats insanely fast.

that's an intense NA powerplant... with a proper launch, this should pull a 10 easy. It sounded like he launched off idle.

The 458 is impressive but you are correct about the MP4-12C. There is a video floating around where the 458,12C & a 997Turb and from the video the 12C gets out to an early lead and appears to hold it as the race goes on but the video did not show the end results. (nothing a video of a race with the camera only at the start) Its on youtube just type in 458 vs MP4 12C

That is really fast, I'm sure if he got a better launch the time would be better considering the trap speed. My favorite Ferrari Click here to enlarge

Right, it should run what, 220 traps? That's a naturally aspirated small displacement V8... pretty freaking impressive.

He just mashed it. With some proper rubber and a good launch... well, 10's are within reach.

I saw numbers all over the place and some low dyno results so I didn't really know.

I think this would be hard to replicate on a track where it isn't so damn cold but still, respect.

Ok guys, this was done at MIR this week.

I checked the DA calculator on drag times and although I'm not sure what time this was running it ran in major negative DA. I went with the hottest part of the day on the 15th and it was still -1500 DA.

So, it won't hit this on a "real" track just like a Z06 won't really run 10's stock. Still, nice to see, but MIR in the winter isn't really representative of real world performance. Still, the car is 10 seconds capable stock in favorable conditions, just like the Z06.
