I'll do a full review and comparison on Sunday. Maybe if I have too much wine Monday.

If they do a naturally aspirated V8 for the mid-engine Corvette I think it will benefit from it greatly. I can tell you now it will be a much better sports car.

So you see there is always some thread where someone swaps in an LS engine into a BMW and everyone says it is an impressive build. So let's do a flip on it and swap in a BMW interior into that bad boy. Find a dash from a Z4 And red seats from an M4..... Call it a Z4-06. ///M.

Because if that is indeed the case, a JB4 for 991.2....its going to be hilarious what numbers these cars are going to be putting up...and its going to piss off GIAC and Cobb.

There has never been a car as good (all around) as the 991.2, its PERFECT for the JB4...except that it will be a pain in the ass to install because you'll have to take apart the rear of the car just like you'd have to do for that other piggy...Agency Power/VRtuning box....

    991.2 is....
    (1) lightweight
    (2) strong transmission
    (3) not limited by traction (AWD model is an option)

With upgraded turbos and a FBO 9's are possible....

The existing cars that BMS tunes are amazing at the air strip but they have limitations at the drag strip......

    (1) 335/435
limited traction (x-drive isn't the best AWD system)
    weak transmission with limited upgrades

    (2) 550/650
limited traction (x-drive isn't the best AWD system)
    heavy
no proven upgrades for ZF-Auto transmission

    (3) M5/M6
limited traction, RWD only (for now)
    heavy

That's what I was thinking but after Terry spent time with the car he believes taking off the rear bumper to install makes it too difficult to do and that there won't be much profit in it.

I am not sure how many people have the GIAC tune yet or when Cobb is even launching theirs but maybe you could organize a dyno day sponsored by BoostAddict and a shop where you offer a discounted group-buy for three dyno runs....

Then we could get some real damn dynos with cars at different states of tune and mods and compare the data

I have a baseline at VF on their Mustang and I can get one at on an AWD Dynojet too. I'm not tuned yet so no problem really.

If GIAC bothered to even respond I'd probably already be running their tune.

It's a sweet car but weighing the work involved and what we could be working on, when we're not working on BMW's which occupies 90% of our attention span, I just can't justify moving forward. But I have no doubt Sticky will find a shop to tune the crap out of this thing. It has a lot of potential. Click here to enlarge
