Ford GT GT2 - Robertson Racing

Robertson Racing has Partnered with Micheling and they will be Sponsoring the team. Completion of a deal with one of motorsport’s most successful technical partners – Michelin – will make the team very strong in the 2011 season. Roberson Racing will be fielding 2 Ford GTs the entire 2011 season.

American Le Mans; they have been racing in the series with the Ford GT since 2005. Now they have sponsorship from Michelin so they are running 2 cars. With more resources at hand they will be more competitive this season.

I couldn't find the exact spec for the car but I have a little GT2 101 for you

The GT cars share many similarities to their showroom car. Top speeds of up to 180 mph, these GTs produce between 450-500 horsepower and have a minimum weight of 1,145 kilograms (2,480 pounds).

So if the power is 450-500 then the engine is somewhat stock? It comes from the factory at 550?

They don't all use their factory motors (which I don't really understand) as GM runs a 5.5 liter V8.

The car looks very much the business.
What I don't understand is why it says Dunlop on the truck when Michelin is the sponsor Click here to enlarge

Some of the pictures are from last year. The car livery stays the same but now Michelin is their partner as you can see in the yellow car. Dunlop was their official tire supplier for the last two seasons.
