    Probably, then again, so are the Porsche GT3, BWM M3 bumpers...

    I never really understood people who bashed the Corvettes for having plastic bumpers either...

    Wasn't trying to start an argument either. I was actually curios on what your point was... Im sure they have to follow the same regulations that other do.

    But who knows, it may have a combination of carbon fiber, plastic and aluminum body panels, just like many other race cars.

    Looks pretty bad ass, and although its a Caddy, I think it cool to see them doing this; even if just for $#@!s and giggles...

    It is not for $#@!s and giggles. They competed in the Speed World Challenge Series with the last CTS-V. With some heavily decorated drivers they won some championships.

    Unfortunately the World Challenge Series is now dieing a slow death. Maybe with cadillac now rejoining the series, some other manufacturers will come back also.

    True. I don't see it coming back to life though. ALMS and Grand Am are taking the spot.
