    Turbo Mustangs are serious machines.

You should see some of the single turbo setups on the GT500's, insane.

This pushes me closer to the GT500 route. I just can't stand the look of them pre 2011 though...... and I really want that new aluminum block with the plasma cylinder coating process.... but I'd be pushing my budget, and I need to find someone who wants to buy my 135i.

OR I can hang onto the BMW and hope some of the single turbo kits + fuel rail get finished soon.

You will never be able to make the same amount of power with a 135 with stock internals vs a GT500 with stock internals. GT500 with just a basic stage 1 turbo kit is already making 700+ hp and thats plenty to run 10s.

No I understand. I've already picked out my mods. I'll be 700whp + on even a conservative tune. Hell I can do two mods and be in the 10s! BUT, I feel the 1M single turbo build would be much more unique and epic than just another big blower mustang.

    Decisions, decisions......

I can get into the 8's stock internals, so yes it would smoke lots of street vehicles. But I would feel like a traitor. Click here to enlarge

    So, why didn't you buy a GT500?

Because I wanted to try the N54. And I found it for a decent deal. GT500 was not really an option. I would get one in a heartbeat, although I would much rather have a CTS-V nowadays because I have a wife and kid.

Exactly... the GT500 is on another planet of modding potential. And if you want to suck your eyeballs into the back of your skull go with a single turbo built motor setup and get traction somewhere by the time you wind out 6th gear.
