Axles are being measured and put into the system just now, then we can make some samples to test Click here to enlarge

For the Twin-Disc, these should be ready around end of Nov.

Awesome. My clutch is starting to slip in 5th now, so it's on its way out. I'd gladly be a tester for the twin disc like I did for the 3.46 pumpkin Click here to enlarge

I have the SMFW/Spec 2+ installed but have been keeping quiet as there appears to be a problem related to the installation (seems like the driveshaft wasn't reinstalled properly) and didn't want that tainting my review.

Regarding the flywheel itself, it's been mostly quiet. The only time I've heard any chatter is with the A/C on, but even then it's rather minimal and somewhat sporadic. Most of the time I idle with the clutch disengaged anyhow...

I dont mind a little noise at idle. If its annoying I just turn the radio up..and I could give a $#@! less what other people outside of my car think. I like Single Mass flywheels cuse they improve the reliability 1000%....whoever came up with the dual mass idea should be dragged out in the street and shot lol

The dual-mass flywheel isn't the worst of ideas--it allows one to use a clutch without a sprung hub in a modest, daily-drivable car. Just another solution to smooth out engine pulses from the drivetrain.

Re. chatter from the MFactory SMFW, it really is about as minimal as one could ask. It is only audible when the A/C is on, and even then it's hit-or-miss if it'll actually make noise. When it does make noise it's relatively subdued--orders of magnitude quieter than the UUC flywheel/E39 M5 clutch combination I had on my old E36 M3 track car.
