    First E85 log

Had some 93 in the tank so its more like E78 but zero knock and car is fast Click here to enlarge Time to try some vbox runs soon.

Mitch at Cobb isn't done yet, but I think 1-2 iterations more and the car is (for now) "done".

3.1s 60 to 100 or so, that is good going, once you get the perfect blend you will be sub 3.0 s and we know you usually go uphill

So I got an new map from Mitch (love those emails) "Here, try this, it is faster" Click here to enlarge

So this is going uphill, even for me, it is a lot more uphill than my earlier tries on 60-100, with the wife and a full tank of booze.

    3.3s uphill.

Mate do they still have downhills in Stockholm, you know the other side of the uphill.

I guess you are near 600 rwhp... I do 3.4 secs uphill (modest) at about 570 rwhp

I know, its the traffic going into downtown usually blocks any wot going down, but I will try to reverse the 1.5% uphill place I used before Click here to enlarge

Yeah and also more complex builds... was at Tim's yesterday and saw a Proto/markski built car (some really crap build quality parts) and it has the same turbos and a built 4 litre engine yet does 500 whp less than Tim's car.

I would be pissed if I built a 3.6 litre up to 4 litre at a costs > $35,000 plus tranny plus plus and have it barely out run a bolt on 997.1 with E85

Thanks, Mitch at Cobb has been amazing to work with, I am on the 4th revision and still have some minor throttle closures at WOT.

The car is insane(r) on ID1000s and E85, last log from yesterday 2nd-4th was scary (PSM OFF) even with 4WD. I have serious issues doing clean shifts at WOT, I hit the rev limiter so fast now Click here to enlarge

On a more serious note, he is amazing to work with, he is providing updated maps in minutes and answers emails instantly.

I just got an email where he apologizes for not working the weekend with my car.

And I just bought the AP, I havent spend a $ for custom tuning, my mind is blown!

People on 6nancy love the guy, he seems to work 24/7, so from 3 months ago when COBB 1st announced 997.1 then 997.2 AP/support, where people were bagging them and sceptical, it is now where everyone raves..

shows what GREAT customer support and a perfect product can do
