USP Motorsports and Chris Green: 9.071 @ 158 at Waterfest 2014!!!!

Ran a new best, pushed the US record for Quickest Audi further, got really close to that 8.xxx pass. Chris will be the first to break that 8 second barrier here in the US, just like he was the first to do it with the 9 second barrier.

    9.071 @ 158.28

They took home the money and the win at Waterfest #14 .

After that gearbox change, they have finally passed their old block point and have just went quicker and faster.

    GOOD JOB USP!!!!

8 second US Audi around the corner? USP Motorsports runs 9.071 @ 158 with their turbo VR6 swapped B5 S4 at Waterfest 2014

It is simply inevitable for this car to get into the 8's. If it were not for rule restrictions in the class in which USP Motorsports is racing this would have already happened. When we last saw this B5 S4 in action it turned a ridiculous 9.26 @ 156 in the 1/4 mile. Keep in mind, the car has also trapped 160 in the 1/4 mile. It is also putting out over 900 horsepower to all four wheels courtesy of the turbocharged VR6 powerplant.

At Waterfest 2014 they managed a 9.071 elapsed time with the car which means 8's are around the corner. What enthusiasts should take away from this is that 8 second street legal B5 performance is a completely realistic goal these days. It looks like USP Motorsports will be the first to break the 8 second US barrier.

They do awesome stuff. I'd love to see what they could do with a VR6 that didn't have any restrictions.

Keep in mind people this car is full interior and has a class limited turbo of 67mm put a 7675 on this and this car will go 8s... Also keep in mind this is a 2.8L vr6 and i can only imagine this car with a 3.6L vr6

I'm surprised nobody has built a balls out VR6 turbo like this.
