Thumbs up C7 Z06 Pricing Released - Starts at $79K

The value that American car manufacturers are bringing to the table right is amazing. You've got the 2015 Mustang with fantastic power to weight for $30K-ish. You've got the C7 Stingray for $50Kish. The Hellcat for $60Kish. And now the C7 Z06 for $79K - $20K+ less than the C6 ZR1 for likely better performance. Wow. All amazing values IMHO.

    http://www.leftlanenews.com/new-chev...price-tag.html

I also love all the options they are offering as the LLN article discusses. You can get a hardtop, a convertible, manual or auto, etc. Same with the Hellcat - you can get the 2dr Challenger or a 4dr Charger. With the Mustang you can get a killer Ecoboost and lighter weight or the honkin' 5.0L. I'm not normally an American car guy, but I'm coming around.

    Bravo. Click here to enlarge

That's awesome! Very good news, good to know amazing cars are still not out of reach of many "middle-class" americans.

Unreal. Everyone thought the GTR was a bargain.

There are M4's that are specced out more than that. Honestly this pricing changes the game.

Excellent point. In fact, that even reinforces more how impressive the Z06 pricing is. For just $4K more, you can get a Z06 that will likely run circles around the Z28 and the Z28 is already a formidable car for the money.

Honestly is this real life? This much car for such little money. How can they justify that price, with the amount of R&D they put into it. Fantastic!

    Track f*cking MONSTER!

As with any new car release you will have to deal with stealers marking up msrp. Same goes with the M4/M3. Wait 6-12 months and you can pick one up msrp or under.

I dont know why people get so upset with dealers marking up the price. I dont blame them. If i a had a hot new product with limited availablity and huge demand id ask a premium for it to. If you want a better deal wait a year.

If you want 4 seats and to spend less, Hellcat. If you want a two seat sports car that is balls to the wall and also a great value, Z06.

I want them both. No more Germans for me.

I'm not upset, I am not buying one but it is disingenuous to say a car is $79k and no-one can get one at that price

Yeah two different cars. Hellcat is an insane motor strapped to a sh*tty bloated chassis. Z06 is a monster, R&D to the nth degree to tear tracks up.

Z06 is in a different league.

It is disingenuous to let everyone know the msrp of the car? Who exactly is being disingenuous?

By the way there are people already with orders, getting them with no mark up.
