Now I want to find a good road around me, would like a best effort 60-100mph at least before new injectors an E85 to compare with! Your car is flying now, will aslo try to shift a bit earlier from now on. Think the Cobb has a shift light feature so I will play with it and see if it helps.

Thanks xbox, my Eurodyne is playing up. I cannot read my ECU and have spent all week trying to get it to go as I want to go full E85.

I have the exact programming down pat if only the stupid $#@!ing POS maestro software would read my ECU...

I am thinking full E85 at the same timing will lower my IATS quite a bit.

I did a 3.1 second 60-100 mph last night in the cold 65F weather.

Finally got a chance to look at this with the forum finally behaving.

Nicely done but I'm thinking full E85 and a new map should open some eyes.

I think it will be interesting to see what stock K24s can do... I have seen other low 7.3-7.4 second K24s from Auto-Tiptronics and no-lift shift GIAC cars but cannot confirm anything in the 6's for 60-130 mph.... there are plenty of K24/18 times in the 6.xx secs and lower but nothing < 7.0 secs with stock K24 that I can find ..

My only problem is even at these talk levels you can really feel the pull on the tranny so with E85 I may have to lower talk settings a tad and let E85 work top end.

    We will see.

I think from my times and those of the 997 of Dzenno@PTF I am at similar rwhp nos and his dynoed at 535 awhp = 7.2 secs 60 to 130 mph which seems high for K24s on my car, but then again maybe Tim is just better at tuning than most

I rarely use the air conditioning as I like the heat but I have been getting the 1033 sensor code and CEL a few times after 60 to 130 mph runs if I then use the aircon afterwards.... after each run I open the engine cover when I get home and let it AIR OUT a bit...

Yesterday I noticed the piping near the hydraulic reservoir outlet is freezing to the touch !

BTW I did an unofficial 6.989s 60 to 130 but they said the slope was too much... I shifted at 5800-6000 rpms in 3rd at a lower speed and got more load on sooner in 4th...

    Doing an oil change today

I went to Riverhead today, bought some VP 100 unleaded 100 octane, added 4 gallons of E85 and 4 of pump 98 Sunoco and did 5 x 1/4 mile runs and 0-150 mph etc.

Fwit, I did not plug my little SD card thingy in PBOX.

    I did (in my own mind) do a 6.978s best 60 to 130 mph, a 6.001s 100 to 200 kmh and

129 mph quarter mile runs one after another 126.9 to 129.7 mph but in 11.8-12.4 seconds with 2.2 to 2.4 s 0-60 feet.

Top that off and I think my effing SONY Mini-crap-cam broke... see if I can add some videos later

Car loves the extra octane even on my Tim941NYC 93 octane tune... hitting and holding 1.4 bars with K24 turbos and 100% boost duty... not sure if I can go faster even with more timing.... $#@!ing great car once it is off the line..... at launch it is a nasty, snorting $#@!ing bush pig

Car is a lot of FUN Click here to enlarge

For launches just feather at 3500rpm and slip it just a bit to get off the line and then NLS into 2nd at like 5k, don't rev it out in 1st, you want to get out of 1st as quickly as possible as that gear is your biggest 60' enemy Click here to enlarge

Thx, the RWD nature and light weight at the front make this hard to launch with any confidence, one time I launched perfectly was when a deer ran in my path at 100 mph

Getting close with clutch an ID1000s now, little delay since three ignition coils where cracked and I decided to replace them.

Anyone knows how long I need to break in the new clutch? I do mostly downtown stop and go driving...

What clutch did you go with?

Typical breakin procedure is 500km of stop and go traffic, lots of take offs with light slip for material to bed in and work itself with the flywheel..highway mileage doesn't count Click here to enlarge after that its good to go

Clutch break in.. my Dad used to tell me to

    1. Take for a gentle drive, get engine up to warm
    2. Put foot through clutch to the floor and hold it for a minute
    3. Release, drive again for 10 mins or so
    4. Repeat 2. but hold for 2 mins or so

Drive around. Clutch will find a holding spot and should settle thereafter.

I drove for 300 miles in short 40 mile drives before doing the above
