APR tuned Audi RS7 4.0 TFSI V8 on 100 octane race gas runs 10.6 @ 131 in the 1/4 mile

Here is another APR tuned RS7 in the mid 10 second 1/4 mile range. Last month an RS7 went 10.690 @ 131.31 making this 10.606 @ 131.64 the new quickest and fastest recorded 4.0 TFSI V8 and RS7 1/4 mile run. APR themselves went 10.690 @ 129.32 on 93 octane which makes one wonder a bit why the 100 octane numbers considering the huge horsepower figures shown by APR are not producing much quicker or faster results than pump gas on the dragstrip.

Regardless, 10.6 @ 131 for a heavy sedan is absurdly fast and we seem to have a good idea of the performance capability of tuned RS7's on the dragstrip with multiple cars running 10.6.

Now to see what happens when the exhaust is opened up with some downpipes.

I don't know about 'easily' but it sure looks like 9's are well within the picture.
