This is a MKVI DSG Golf R with the APR Stage III turbo kit doing 0-60 in 3.1 seconds
The APR Stage III kit on the Golf R we know is plenty potent with capability of over 400 horsepower at the wheels courtesy of the Garrett GTX2867R turbocharger. So how does it put all the power down from a stop? Incredibly well. This Golf R from China is running 93 pump gas. It is a DSG model so that partially explains the quick time. Additionally, it is on Yokohama AD08 tires at all four corners which offer pretty good grip.
The result is a VBOX verified 0-60 time of 3.1 seconds. That is a four cylinder Golf doing a 0-60 sprint in almost 3 seconds flat.
Oh VW, why didn't you give those of us in the USA the DSG transmission? Video below, pay no attention to the atrocious music.

It's funny that they made the manual standard for this gen R, meanwhile the mk5 r32 was only dsg and people were complaining they couldn't get it in manual.
