    also worth mentioning..
i did this 3000 mile drive on the solid trans and motor mounts from Jake and PTF...

    definitely a go on them
no nonsense or vibration and far more respnsive

If you plan on making much over 550-600wtq you will destroy the stock mounts in no time.. i estimate my stock mounts lasted less than 1000 miles before my motor was flopping around LMAO

the only time you will know u have the solid mounts in is a)when u feel the response b)cold start for a few seconds and c) when u first touch the gas pedal down low sometimes u lightly feel it..

    seriously they are smooth

How are they at idle in terms of chatter and vibration in cabin? I’ve only been in one car with solid motor mounts, but it was seriously jarring. Completely unacceptable for a street driven car.
Sounds like PTF got these ones right though.

NYC is desperately over rated for sure. Chicago’s a great city but I don’t like being frozen 8 months out of the year.

no jarring or chatter whatsoever at idle.

like i said only time u even notice is on cold start for a few seconds and when u first touch the gas pedal when cold. Other than that, amazingly smooth

I'm really surprised by that Dan, I honestly would have thought they'd be more noticeable. Are the shifts a lot better? I'd think that they would help power handling of the transmission a little. I'm personally hoping between the cooler, mounts, and alpina flash my stock trans will hold 600wtq, we'll see.
