    Toyota Tacoma X-Runner with Tundra 5.7 V8 + TRD SC - 12.0@116

This is pretty sweet, I wish they would actually produce something like this. The truck basically is all TRD parts:

The best part? The RTR could almost be considered a parts-bin truck that a strong-willed enthusiast might be able to build in their garage.

The 5.7-liter V-8 and six-speed automatic transmission have been installed in the Tacoma without a single calibration change, Williams said. The engine still thinks it's working in a full-size pickup, not a 3,920-pound dragster. The X-Runner RTR weighs only about 150 pounds more than a stock X-Runner.

The RTR project team also borrowed the rear axle from a Tundra with a 4.30 ratio and 10.5-inch ring gear, though the team narrowed its wide track by 5.7 inches to match the Tacoma's natural stance. Inside, the Tacoma's gauge cluster has been replaced by the Tundra's.

Stock Tundra i-Force 5.7-liter V8 engine with TRD Supercharger Kit – produces 504 HP and 550 lb.-ft of torque
    • Tundra six-speed automatic transmission
    • TRD mechanical limited slip differential
    • Stock Tundra rear axle with a 4.3 ratio and 10.5-inch ring gear narrowed by 5.7 inches to Tacoma rear-track width
    • Custom fabricated exhaust system including two TRD perforated chamber mufflers with 3.5-inch pipe
    • Vehicle lowered 4.5-inches
    • 10-inch wide rear wheels on 3011.515-inch Goodyear Eagle Dragway Specials
    • 4.5-inch wide front wheels with 284.515-inch Goodyear Eagle Front Runners
    • Stock Tacoma X-Runner braking system
    • Stock body panels
    • Stock seats with classic Toyota fabric trim
    • TRD-designed removable roll bar
    • Custom TRD steering wheel
    • Tundra stock accelerator and brake pedals
    • Stock Tundra gated shifter with sport shift mode
    • Five Axis Classic Silver and Red paint scheme with Toyota branded livery
    • TRD Supercharger Tornado body graphic

I haven't seen Toyota sell it as a crate so I really don't know. I can certainly help you look though, let me see what I find.

Yeah i have a toyota prado( lexus gx 470). So was thinking of switching to it or i may as well just go with 4.5 6 cylinders and turbo it up. These 4.5 engins handle upto 700whp easy and cheap.

Kind of funny when a Nissan Patrol can take on SLR's and Murcielago's.

No kidding. Click here to enlarge When I first watched it, I thought for sure when it got to the top and turned sideways (flipping up on its side), that it was going to tumble sideways down the entire dune. Kudos to the driver for righting it and calmly bringing it back down.

That is exactly what I thought, I still don't know how he righted it so easily or if that was his intention from the beginning knowing he was more than capable of doing it.

They have tons of practice. It's natural for them, not saying that $#@! doesnt hit the fan. When it does, well you get the point.

I had videos of a Land Cruiser beating an r6, 911 tt, gtr, z06. All these from a dig too! I cant find it but it should be on youtube.
