1/4 mile speculation for single/Twin upgrades.

    Stock turbo440-460whp puts these n54's at 11.6-12.0 @-118-124mph
    RB's 500-525whp 11.0-11.30 @ 123-126mph

with 600-750whp single or twins I am guessing easily 10.4-10.7 @135-140mph.

    750-770whp and a good auto with a excellent 60foot I can see low 10's !

    Just speculating for fun.

So that means the 335 will right?

Big difference between drag racing/launching a mustang GT vs a 335 (not to mention gearing).

you'll have high traps, but the ET will be a bit off

No not at all but I am just speculating. 335 is also 400 lbs lighter. But the mustang has better gearing in that auto.

There are several differences between the cars.

Regardless, I can tell you right now there is no 335 that will break into 140 with a turbo upgrade. You will need to have the fueling figured out and a real automatic transmission upgrade solution.

Really, the DCT may be the savior for 335 performance as it looks like that will be upgraded well before the AT ever will be.

Still, the 335 will need more WHP than the Mustang as the Mustang will put the power down better on the strip. The solid rear axle is a major plus. Not to mention we aren't analyzing the torque curves, final drives, or gearing.

I like your optimism but right now you're dreaming.

Shiv ran a 10.822 with less then 650whp in a manual. Seems like he's spot on to me. For consistency, an auto will be necessary.

How much WHP Shiv really had we never know as he posted ~700 in that timespan and his car was lightened as well wasn't it? His trap was what again?

You aren't dreaming at all man. Those numbers are attainable. Just gonna take a properly built car to get it there. The MT's are going to break into the 10's easily with a big WHP if the op can drive. But dropping below say a 10.7 / 10.6 will be very tough. Get a good AT with some real slicks and a hard launch. Easy low 10's with 750+WHP.

Yes I saw that. Traps are usually an indicator of power, you can have a car that cant hook up at all with a lot of power and it will run a pretty solid trap. Get one of these cars on the strip with 800WHP and you will see a 140 trap.

That's right it's going to take more power than he stated.

Your forgetting the DCT, with the right driver, can break 10s, with less power

I guess time will tell. I am willing to take bets on terry's car as it sits under 600whp will go 10.6--10.7. He went 11.0 with tranny issues and rbs.

I'm not questioning ET's as much as your trap speed 'guesses.'

Where's the fuel going to come from even if the turbo can support the power level?
