Smile Totally stock new M5 with 590rwhp??

That's right according to the owner I met at Famoso Raceway yesterday. He claims he took delivery in Germany and it's a US spec/California car with no modifications. It ran 11.42@128. Now, anyone here who knows me, knows that I'm very familiar with being accused of sandbagging what's been done to my car (I have the silver '08 ZO6 with a CAI, headers and tune that repeatedly beats considerably more powerful cars at the 1/2 mile roll races in central California). But 128 in the 1/4 mile in a bone stock M5? So what do you all say? I think he has the turbos boosting quite a bit higher than the factory setting. BTW, I added skinnies and Mickey Thompson DRs to the Silver Bullet and ran a 10.81@129.06 with a best 60ft of 1.59 yesterday in pretty poor air (DA 1800-2000ft). I'm pretty happy with that.Click here to enlarge

Unfortunately no, I'll be in Tahoe with my family. Possibly a very long shot at making it on Sunday, but I wouldn't bet on it. Hopefully Omega Motorsport will have an event soon also and I can make that. Good luck with your car and hopefully we can run together soon.

Not stock but I know one of our customers ran 11.3@127 at Famoso over the weekend. Main mod is our Stage1 tune ($449). Not sure what else he has.

Wow that is impressive, especially the 1/8th mile speed, basically the same speed there as my ZO6. And this was a new model M5 with nothing but a ECU tune? I'm getting a new X5 V8tt soon, I might have to have you do that Stage 1 thing to it!

OP - repped for your Z06....

The M5 above has exhaust and tune at a minimum... saw a stock M5 plus I think a Terry or Euro-tune here at the air field go beserk over 1 mile... he says he did the 1/4 in 11 even to which I chucked in my mouth a little... but the thing got to 198 mph before the end of the runway according to his Vbox (?) thingy... will see if I can get him to give me the camera footage.... runway is 1.642 miles straight
