    WTF. Why Me.

Was working on a buddies car last night and my car has been in my garage for about 2 months just doing a black interior swap while i waited for turbos, anyways, i needed a vanos solenoid so i popped my hood to grab one.

I noticed foam on my engine top, i was thinking maybe the foam got brittle. and just came apart. then started looking and found orange peels and $#@! in my air box Click here to enlarge

noticed wires have been nibbled on, the foam on the fire wall was eaten which really irritated me the most, and ugh. this was a pointless expense. Screw texas.

I don't have my injectors in and now fine foam sand crap is in my pistons Click here to enlarge

at least stage 3s won't blow my motor lol

    check these out.

to get rodents like that trust me a mouse trap will not work.. smart little buggers...

Buy some rat glue, smuck it on a piece of card board, sprinkle some hard boil eggs on it and I guarantee you they will bite....

We have a few neighborhood cats that we leave some food out for. They hang out in the front yard and mill around the garage and have completely eradicated any mice, most bugs, scorpions, and pigeons. Lazy bastards are somewhat good for something sometimes.

What about keeping it on jackstands? How high would it have to be lifted off the ground before its too high for a mouse? Life's most difficult questions.

I hate mice, had a buddy with beater Dakota those F'ers got walnuts in some frame areas we could never find then. Every time he would take a turn or stop/start you would hear a few nuts rolling around. Good luck with getting those bastards.

Lol, This happened to my family in Colorado a lot. We noticed it one day when the heater was on, it smelled like burning grossness. When we opened the hood, dogfood and treats fell out from behind the foam hood liner, it had been cooking over the engine for weeks. I hope you kill the bastard lol.

Not that you'd kick her out, but the outdoor cats have a lot more incentive to catch stuff. Just the same, I'd close up the garage and let your cat hang out in there for a while. The mouse/mice will either leave or get eaten.

They make some of these obnoxious sound-making machines to force out rodents (I got sick of my cats leaving dead field mice in my shoes), and honestly, as long as you can isolate the sound from your house, they work wonders. Even after putting them in the house right when it was starting to get cold and they would have been coming into the garage the most often, I haven't heard a peep from one in a few months of these little "sound boxes". Even the cheap ones work - just get some off Amazon - and put 'em in the garage for a month or so. I'll bet $10 you don't see a single mouse two months from now Click here to enlarge

We get that same $#@! all the time, there is a big field across the street from our shop and when it rains, those little guys look for places to stay warm and dry, I parked a 73 911 for a few years under a cover, finally took it off to get some stuff out of it, they literally ate everything, I almost threw up when I took the cover off ands opened the door. I found like 5 carcasses in the car, it was like an effing rat city, births and deaths inside my car! They are hard to get rid of!

I'm kind of laughing too. I feel like he's going to put his head on a toothpick in the garage as a warning to the other rats.

So do cats really go after mice just as instinct? My ex's cat never did anything but eat and sleep. Well that and annoy the $#@! out of me and bite me. The cat let rodents roam free...
