C7 Corvette LMR Stage III LT1 heads and cam package - 551 rear wheel horsepower all motor

I'm sold. The horsepower curve is quite nice with the cam too and the torque doesn't drop off too hard at redline. Now to add some boost on top...

That is $#@!ing insane! Very impressive motor, and sounds fantastic! Does anybody know what an LS7 makes with these type of mods?

Close to the same numbers. They still haven't addressed the intake.

The LS7 will have slightly more torque though but the variable valve system and higher compression are showing their strengths.

One thing the LT1 can do the LS7 can't is get a larger benefit from E85 so a race tune, intake work, etc., and close to 600 whp I think is within reach.

I think that sounds likes a Cammed Corvette. I guess I better have my $#@! together If i plan on stop light racing him!

Still very impressive. That plus a blower could easily do 800whp!

hmmm 427 stroker crank. do that with a 10.0 compression, cams, then add some Nitrous for when you really need it! you'd have a very formidable car that could run with the best and then destroy when needed!

Really. Nitrous loves compression why would you want to drop it lower than the stock compression? That makes no sense.

I am about sold too. I think I will wait until the end of 2014 to pick one up. The dealers are still trying to mark up the Z51 package C7's. Some nice lightly used ones should be available this time next year.

Seeing how well this new C7 is taking to mods is making me re-consider the desire to pick up a C6 Z06. Can't wait to see a video of a modded C7 vs a modded C6 Z06.

I hope everyone with a z06 now goes and gets this so the price of the c6 z06 drops low enough where I can warrant buying one Click here to enlarge

Normally I'd say I'd rather have a C6 Z06 but the C7 has me swayed.

The displacement disadvantage hurts a bit but with tuners already getting stroker kits out there if you desperately want the 427 you can get it. I'll take that displacement with the higher compression ratio and newer/better chassis in this instance.

The C7 is said to just drive so much better than the C6 and not to mention it's pulling absurd numbers on the skidpad.
